10 Hay Farming Basics: Producing A Quality Hay Product

  1. Consider the cost of production and the price trending in the local market before setting the price. The most effective way to set the most appropriate market price for your hay is to consider the cost of production and as the produce. You must ensure that you know the prices of your local market
  2. Ensure you have the best Alfalfa or grass when making your hay. Having the best quality of Alfalfa or grass will enable you to attain attractive returns later when seeding your hay.
